History
Name came from anglossa ´s word masty (strong) or kelt´s Mansuetus (gentle). To GB Mastif came cause of Kelts of Fenicians. When in 55 pnl. was Julius Caesar conquered GB, he was very suprissed of dogs which was defended walls. He took them to Rome and they used them for fights in arenas. I tis just one of versions. Altough were mastif used for wars, in arenas or hunts, they are the happiest, when they watch over house and people whose live there.
Appearance
Today is mastif symbol of strong. Despite of his big weight he could be unbelievable fast. Mastif is really big and the heaviest breed on the world. He weight about 100 kg. His skeleton is heavy too. His head is robust with black mask. Nose is short and broad. Eyes Mastif has road and deeply seated. The ears are worn around the head, they are low-seated, long, and no frills. The teeth have a regular scissor bite. . Mastiff has a short and adjacent coat, with several types of coloring. The coat does not need special care. It has strong limbs, which are finished with round and wide labia. The body has a rectangular shape. The back is broad, the chest wide and deep.
Temperament
He is deliberate, playful and intelligent. He likes games and movement. Just as the mastiff is a huge dog, so is his heart too. He truly loves his family. If someone wants to get into his territory, he does not hesitate and is able to attack an inviting guest. Mastiff is very devoted to his master and protects him. That's why he's a great guard. She has a great relationship with children. However, if your child plays with another dog, the mastiff tends to protect his children. Training is important, but a little more complicated. These dogs will think first of all, so we can classify them as stubborn. If they learn anything, they will not forget it.
